The Solid Waste Division would like to thank the public for their patience and kōkua during the construction and improvements taking place at the Volcano Recycling and Transfer Station. During this construction period please note that rubbish disposal will be moved closer to the entry of the Transfer Station and roll off bins will be provided. This temporary location may cause a slight inconvenience and the Solid Waste Division appreciates the public's patience during this transitional period.

The Solid Waste Division would like to remind the public that the Volcano Recycling and Transfer Station hours of operation are Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and that access to the Volcano Transfer Station will be strictly prohibited to the public on days that the Transfer Station is closed.
