Due to a shortage of manpower in West Hawaii the Puakō Transfer Station will close this morning at 8am and will reopen at 4pm this afternoon.

Residents may take their household generated wastes to the Waimea Transfer Station which is open from 6am to 6pm or to the West Hawaii Sanitary Landfill, located in Waikoloa, which is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. daily.
