The Solid Waste Division’s public informational meetings this week at the Nāʻālehu Clubhouse, Yano Hall, Aupuni Center Conference Room (Hilo) and Waimea Community Center are POSTPONED due to unexpected emergencies.  We will notify the public when new meeting dates are set.  The meetings are to discuss the facilities’ operating days and the possibility of modifying the current schedule for transfer stations island-wide.  We will inform the public when new meeting dates are scheduled.

The County of Hawai‘i Department of Environmental Management’s Solid Waste Division would like to invite the public and users of the residential transfer stations to attend our public informational meetings.  At these meetings, the Solid Waste Division will be discussing the facilities’ operating days and the possibility of modifying the current schedule for transfer stations island-wide.

We welcome any input and participation from the communities and users of our facilities.
