The Pāhala Recycling & Transfer Station will be closed from 9:00 a.m. today, March 29, 2019 (Friday), due to an unanticipated staffing shortage. It should reopen as regularly scheduled tomorrow, Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The public can alternatively take their trash to the Wai‘ōhinu Recycling & Transfer Station, which is open seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
