The Keauhou, Ke‘ei & Puakō Recycling & Transfer Stations are closed today, July 16, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. These closures are due to unanticipated staff shortages in the Kona/Kaʻū and Waimea baseyards.
Residential patrons may take their household refuse to the nearest alternative Recycling & Transfer Stations, Kealakehe or Waimea, which are open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Keauhou, Ke‘ei & Puakō Recycling & Transfer Stations will reopen as regularly scheduled.
