Due to a shortage of manpower in West Hawai‘i the Waiea Transfer Station will close this morning at 8:00 a.m. and will reopen at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.

Residents may take their household generated wastes today to the Keauhou Transfer Station which is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or to the Wai‘ōhinu Transfer Station which is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m..
