The County of Hawai‘i Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division, announces a special electronics recycling collection event at the Waimea Transfer Station on June 26, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  This event is for households only.  No businesses, government agencies or non-profits allowed.

The Solid Waste Division will be collecting televisions, computers (desktops, tablets and laptops), computer monitors, printers, VCRs/DVD players.  No other types of electronics will be accepted.  Please make sure you are able to unload your items safely and gently place it into the collection roll-off bin at the site.

Residents may also take their household generated electronics to the regularly scheduled collection at the Kealakehe Transfer Station on the third Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
