The Keʻei Transfer Station closed at 8:00 a.m. today, July 30, 2019, due to staffing shortages in the Kona baseyard this morning. The site will reopen as regularly scheduled on Friday, August 2, 2019, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Until 6:00 p.m. today, Ke‘ei residents can take their household generated waste to the Keauhou Transfer Station, which is open seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Residents with household generated greenwaste can take their greenwaste to the Kealakehe Transfer Station greenwaste collection area, which is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for greenwaste disposal.

Due to staff shortages, the Pāhala Transfer Station closed at 8:00 a.m. today, July 30, 2019, and will reopen as regularly scheduled on Friday, August 2, 2019, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Until 6:00 p.m. today, Pāhala residents can take their household generated waste to the Waiʻōhinu Transfer Station, which is open seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Due to staff shortages, the Puakō Transfer Station closed at 8:00 a.m. today, July 30, 2019, and will reopen as regularly scheduled on Friday, August 2, 2019, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Until 6:00 p.m. today, Puakō residents can take their household generated waste to the Waimea Transfer Station, which is open seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
