All County of Hawai‘i Solid Waste Division Recycling & Transfer Stations, Landfill and Sort Station (Reload Facility) will be closed for the following Holiday:
New Year's Day – January 1, 2023 – Sunday
The County of Hawai‘i's 21 Recycling & Transfer Stations throughout Hawai‘i Island and both the Pu‘uanahulu (West Hawai‘i Sanitary) Landfill and East Hawai‘i Sort Station (Reload Facility) will be closed on New Year’s Day. Recycling at the Transfer Stations, the East Hawai‘i and West Hawai‘i Organics Facilities will also be closed.
We respectfully ask for your kōkua and please don’t litter or illegally dump any materials at
the closed transfer stations. Have a safe and happy holiday.
