The County of Hawai’i Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division, announces the closure of the Glenwood Transfer Station for construction activities. The Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, March 25, 2024.  The Glenwood Transfer Station will reopen on Friday, April 19, 2024 (updated).

During the closure period for Glenwood Transfer Station, Volcano Transfer Station will be open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday till construction is completed at Glenwood Transfer Station.
