The Kealakehe (Kailua-Kona) Transfer Station Greenwaste Collection Site is closed as of 8:00 a.m. today (MONDAY, 12/02/2019), and will reopen as regularly scheduled on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  For today, the public can take their greenwaste to the West Hawai‘i Organics Facility (a.k.a. at the Pu‘uanahulu landfill), which is open six days a week (closed on Sundays), from 7:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
