All County of Hawai‘i Solid Waste Division Recycling & Transfer Stations and Landfills will be closed for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day.

The County of Hawai‘i's 22 Recycling & Transfer Stations throughout Hawai‘i Island and both the Pu‘uanahulu (West Hawai‘i) and South Hilo Sanitary Landfills will be closed on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day.

We respectfully ask for your kōkua and please don’t litter or illegally dump any materials at
the closed transfer stations. Have a safe and happy holiday.
