Please note that the Administrative Offices of the Department of Environmental Management, including the Solid Waste Division Recycling Offices in East and West Hawai‘i, will be closed on the 1^st (first) and 3^rd (third) Fridays of every month (except August 2010, in which the 2^nd Furlough Day will occur on Monday, August 23^rd) from July 2010 to June 2011 as we comply with the "Furlough Friday" Directive.

The Furlough Fridays will not be implemented for the Solid Waste Operations (Landfills & Transfer Stations), as they will have an alternative plan to minimize service interruptions.
