All County of Hawai‘i Department of Environmental Management Solid Waste Division Transfer Stations & Landfills are OPEN today.

We would like to thank the public for their kōkua yesterday in avoiding the use of the transfer stations during our closures for disaster preparations, facilitating the safe and orderly evacuation of tsunami inundation zones and allowing the County Civil Defense personnel full access to the roadways.  To accommodate our customers who were inconvenienced by yesterday's closures ALL Transfer Stations and Landfills will be open today during normal weekend hours of operations, please see our Solid Waste Facilities page to check for your local Transfer Station hours of operation.  If your local Transfer Station is not normally open on Sundays, it will be open today during the hours it is normally assigned on Saturdays.

Regular Transfer Station hours resume on Monday, March 1st.
